From what I was reading they are taking the penalties all this weekend with a bunch of upgrades and not even worrying about qualifying so they can avoid penalties at silverstone.

At this point, what do they have to lose? Fuck da police, and this season is one giant testing session. I’m a dyed in the wool Ferrari fan, but I can’t wait until McLaren gets back in form to make things more interesting.

It also sounds like some of the renault teams may be close to doing the same thing due to engine component usage.

I understand where the FIA is coming from with this engine rule, and it’s really amazing that the (some) engine manufacturers can develop an engine that can work so hard and rev so high and last so long, but the draconian engine regulations drive me crazy. Let them change the damned engines already!

If so, he’ll be there on his own...
